Topic: Cycling

1. Do you like cycling?
   Well, not as much as I used to. When I was a student, I enjoyed cycling so much that I went to school by bike every single day. However, nowadays, I’d rather use my car because it is much faster, safer, and more convenient.
2. Did you ride a bicycle when you were a kid?
   Oh yes, absolutely. I can recall that on my 10th birthday, my uncle’s girlfriend who is now his wife gave me such an eye-catching bicycle as a birthday present. I was over the moon when I got the bicycle. Since then, I never went out without it.
3. Would you like to buy a bicycle?
   No, definitely not. As I’ve already mentioned before I’m no longer a fan of cycling so it’s certainly not something on my shopping list. If I bought a new bicycle, it would be a waste of money.
4. Do you think Vietnamese people will cycle more in the future?
   Well, that is an interesting question. In the short term, I think that people in Vietnam will not prefer cycling because the road infrastructure in many places in my country is poor. It is not safe to travel by bicycle. However, in the long run, I believe the Vietnamese government would invest money in cycling schemes because it would benefit both the public and the environment. Nevertheless, I cannot see that happening anytime in the near future.
